SUSTAINABLE ENERGY FOR THE CARIBBEAN

In collaboration with Wärtsilä, Arnon assisted in design and build of battery containers for a new 6 MW energy storage system on the Caribbean island of Bonaire that enhances the stability and reliability of the island's electricity grid. Wärtsilä deployed its GEMS system which enabled storage of excess wind power and reduced the island’s use of light-oil-fuelled power plant and shifted the focus of electricity production to renewable energy sources.
