Pekka Virta, Arnon Group’s Production Development Manager, is stationed in ARNON Tampere. His responsibility is to develop the production to more efficient and  flexible direction.

He graduated in 2009 as Master of Science from Tampere Technical University. Pekka has about 10 years of experience in production and operative functions. He has built his career working in different kinds of production development- and management tasks. He has also 2 years of experience being a Quality Manager.

As a person Pekka is very goal oriented and wants to succeed in things he takes over. He wants to proceed in his career step by step. -“Still it’s important to remember that we do these things together. My goal is to help the company to evolve and succeed by being a part of a highly functional team.”

"There is a lot of potential in this company and the atmosphere here seems very nice."

Pekka gets along with people very well and he is good in making quick decisions. He says that his organizing skills and logical thinking are his strengths. Pekka values each of ARNON’s selected customers and says that his goal is to serve everyone with the best quality and devotion.

At ARNON he has already made an impact even though he started at his position only 4 months ago in June. He says that the first impression of ARNON is very positive. -“There is a lot of potential in this company and the atmosphere here seems very nice.”

-“When I’m not working I spend my time with my kids hobbies or with my own hobby which is being an Ice hockey referee. It’s a role where a person voluntarily chooses to be assessed but that is part of the fun. If you don’t hear any comments you have probably done alright.”

Sports play an important role in Pekka’s life. He either does sports himself or then follows it. He’s always ready to compete, usually with a very serious “aiming to win” mindset but he says it’s important to keep that playful attitude. Take it seriously but not so seriously.
