Riina’s educational background is in youth and leisure work. Helping, supporting, and being present for people in different life situations has always drawn her in. However, shortly after graduation, this young professional realized she wanted to make her living in another field. So, she transitioned into the industrial sector.

Working with people still inspires her, regardless of the industry. Riina names teamwork as one of her favorite aspects of the job. The logistics team is small but full of character, and their tight collaboration works well toward shared goals.

Other things she enjoys about logistics work are its versatility and mobility.

Over the past six years, Riina has witnessed the company’s impressive growth, with revenue jumping from 50 million to over 80 million.

“It’s been exciting to witness all the changes from the shop floor. We’ve taken big steps toward more ecological and sustainable development,” Riina says.

As one important observation, Riina highlights the often-overlooked eighth waste in lean thinking — the underutilization of employees’ skills, creativity, and potential. In her view, Arnon has an abundance of amazing potential on the shop floor that can be identified and harnessed even better in the future.

In her free time, this creative spirit sings lyrics by Juice Leskinen — “about joy, sorrow, or just because” — and writes her own songs. She crafts sun catchers and occasionally goes geocaching. In summer and autumn, she loves foraging for mushrooms in the forest.

If she had to pick a team sport, Riina’s choice is football, and her favorites are the national teams of England and the Netherlands.

And what are her hopes for the future? To survive life without a single wasp sting!
